But now we need to look at our caves, of which there are a whopping 3 in the demo along. The tiles in there need some serious work, both to bring them up to a level with what our exteriors are poised to become and the level of the HGSS style that we've set out to emulate.
Some big problems that are immediately apparent:
>use of overworld cliff tiles as opposed to dedicated cave tiles>no fade into a black space>few cavelike features besides the color of the ground and a few rocks and mushrooms>lack of little details like wet regions of rock and stalagmites>overall shitty tile qualityIf we're going to go full out and try to make our game look good, we shouldn't ignore the Forusk in the room.
