Story-wise, PMD could really benefit from having free-time events/supports. You'd think the Connection Orb from Super would actually give the protagonist a perfect reason to hang out with major characters and learn more about them, but nope, you're stuck with an underdeveloped Expedition Squad.
If Chunsoft can implement this in a game where over half the cast dies, why can't they do it in a game where everyone from all 4 installments show up and where the player character is made out to be social/kindhearted enough to befriend anyone?
