Yep, Unbound is very hostile to challenge runs
I did a "solo" run with Delcatty and 5 underleveled HM slaves. Some of the fights are near impossible, particularly the one where you have to fight a double battle against omni boosted Zekrom and Reshiram.
Unbound expects you to use pretty much everything at your disposal and favors changing up your team for boss battles, so limiting yourself makes certain fights brutally difficult.
I would imagine it would not feel as cruel on vanilla difficulty.

The wiki and NPCS said that some of the battles of the elite four were double battles, but literally none of them were.
I was kind of excited, but them being all singles made the Pokemon league unnoteworthy for romhack standards. I'm sure they do have double battles on the two higher difficulties, but I do not think my team is strong enough for the those modes.
