And he's clearly based on a tiki/totem pole, so all the four Tapus assembling as one entity during a battle seems completely plausible.
Half of the types in that image are wrong, though, as it's been pretty much confirmed that the other Tapus are Fire/Fairy. Psychic/Fairy and Ghost/Fairy.
