This method only works with games that require a constant internet connection to use (all online games).
But....Pokemon isn't an online game outside of Wi-Fi battling. So people would just hit that WLAN switch.....inject to their heart's content....then turn it back on when they want to go online to trade/battle/etc. It's the equivalent of just temportarily turning off your Wi-fi when you are downloading/updating a cracked version of some software you pirated online.

>>44096792 says, making Pokemon require an internet connection just to play would be catastrophic for Game Freak's millions of consumers (kids) whose parents can't afford to pay $100 a month for internet. And we know greedy ass Game Freak would never do anything to jeopardize their cash flow, so your implementation is likely never going to happen (at least not anytime soon)
