Hey all, it's me again, the guy who posts every week lamenting over his poor decision making skills and life goals. Well here it is the product of two months of cycling, my own shiny Vulpix. I got this little beauty while marathoning some Yu Yu Hakusho on my computer and about 3 episodes into the Dark Tournament she showed up. I thought the only appropriate name would be Koto, the fox girl announcer from the series.
And here's where it gets cool, I restarted my Ferroseed breeding project the next morning because I figured "why not, I've got all the egg moves I need and two good parents". I should let you know that I wasn't planning on MMing this one I just needed something to lay down hazards. To pass the time I decided to watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones to help pass the time. About 20 minutes in I spot some blue spikes in my periphery and go nuts. I figured Olenna would be an appropriate name considering Olenna Tyrell is known as the Queen of Thorns.
In conclusion, I've learned that watching shows has a noticeable influence on your chance of hatching a shiny, and I encourage you to do so.

I've learned something while on this nine week hunt for a shiny Vulpix, it's not getting the shiny that gives you that feeling of accomplishment, it's knowing that you're finally done that gives you that feeling.
