All my childhood I would talk about battling him and defeating him, but I could not because I didn't have the link thingy.
Now for some odd reason, my brother and I had to share Pokemon Crystal (he got to play all the time on it)
It wasn't until Gen 3 that I got to battle him. But he would always beat me with his Sceptile, Groudon, Walrein. My trustly Swampert, Electrode, Azumarill and others would get wiped out.
Then comes Gen 4. This was where I learned all of the shit about Pokemon that I know now. I used the GTS and got these awesome EV'd and IV'd Pokemon from it. One was a perfect Salamence, 31 IV's in everything.
With this totalbro Salamence, I was finally able to defeat my brother after all the years of anticipation to fight him and all of the losses I had in Gen 3.
And that's when he quit Pokemon. Best part about it is that I get all of his Pokemon and games all to myself.
If you had a brother and you each had Pokemon, you knew an awesome feel.
