The game is not good imo. It has good QoL and the DLCs do help, but it definitely feels bland, underdeveloped, and rushed.
The core Pokemon gameplay is still there, even with EXP Share fuckery, so there was still fun, but retaining the formula isn't exactly commendable.
It's still worth a try, if you end up liking it great, if you end up hating it, you'll be able to truly understand why
