I'd like more aspects from Dex entries to play into the actual gameplay. Not stuff like Magcargo killing everyone with it's heat, but stuff like how in S/M you could find Mareanie by having a Corsola cry for help. I want more neat things like that to happen.
Imagine if there were swarming pokemon, but instead of a phone call or whatever telling you about it, there were interesting aspects in the world, like the power goes out in a town, and it turns out it's because a bunch of Magnemite are clinging to the power lines.
