The rules are probably simpler than the last time you looked there was all sorts o of supersitious garbage aorund when i learned like "stepped patches raise chances but inline shares chances, don't go for a 4-away i its inline with a shaking patch that isn't what you used ot start the chain" nah, that's all bullshit, just go for 4 aways. makes sure they're the same as the patch you started, and make sure they're not on the edge of the grass patch because if you don't have at least one patch of grass one step away from you, the shaking patches might all appear where there's no grass and that'll get you.
See this little fucker right here? i once broke a chain by using that. the pokemon was an eevee, but there was no shaking after i killed it because my one away just happened to fall on that one empty spot. Never again.
I got my eevee btw, 4 actually. Also 2 porygons. Trophy garden is the good shit.
