Say GameFreak still follows through with the "you can't transfer non-galar pokemon from sun and moon/go/let's go/etc. to galar" thing, but they decide to program them in anyways.
Fast forward, and we get a game that's a lot like Conquest/Gale of Darkness: A non-traditional story with shadow pokemon that is compatible with Home. Much like how Conquest/GoD let you transfer non-Hoenn pokemon. It also has stuff like the Battle Mountain.
