The issue is that Game Freak has repeatedly proven that they don't even have the bare minimum talent required to make a game better than Gen B/W/B2/W2 for over a decade now. It's been 11 years and they haven't been able to make anything better. Why should I ever trust them to be able to improve on Gen 5? All they'd do is add that atrocious Fairy type in, make the artstyle hideous, replace the EXP Share with the always on EXP All, and remove features like the Battle Subway or the ability to turn on Set Battles.
