>>50686262This is pretty much what the beta revealed, for all intents and purposes. Maybe not specifically ww2, but absolutely a nuclear event. Sunflora was originally an unevolved Grass/Psychic type, and was based on a nuclear sunflower (they are real, google it) and the only place they could be found in the game was near the ruins. The Unown are nuclear shadows (also real, look it up).
I don't remember anything else, but there was a huge post about it years ago and it was pretty convincing.
