>>43204858Yeah, it's route 27-26 for me. I mentioned in one of the route threads we had last year how different it feels from the rest of the game. With all 8 badges, it feels much more leisurely. Couple that with the "You just stepped into Kanto" moment and it's like a weirdly nostalgic victory lap.
There's I think a CoolTrainer who has a fully evolved starter Pokemon, and something about that one trainer always made me feel like I was traveling among trainers like me, who were on their way to challenge the league.
The Victory Road cave itself is disappointing, but I've never been bothered by it, because to me it just feels like an extension of the route 27-26 experience.
