With that, I do definitely wanna make some comments on stuff myself (hope I'm not stepping on your toes Macho!)
>>58604659Thank you! I do very much have the mission statement of Kartanon having a relatively "easier" time with his turning throughout the story, and I always figured Kartana would likely be an "easy" instinct to get along with if your own mentality aligned with it properly, which the guy's does fortunately for him. I still think about the comment that (I believe) Macho made about Kartana being a surprisingly conductive mon for creativity given the surroundings, which is something I very much want to get across in the story. Tiny as it is, I adore the Ultra Forest as a location and what it indirectly implies, and I feel like the path being a stone garden with typical "zen" sand raking patterns has a lot to do with it. His instincts have an internal peace and wisdom to them, thus, rather than wrestle with the human for control, an inner peace is its goal, so they may both be as one. I just figure some instincts have more "accommodating" means of asserting their presence compared to others, I feel for Simon dealing with the serpent. Also, very much glad to hear you liked the drawing! Was hoping I could do your story justice, you did very much give me the kick I needed to start my own after all, I can only hope to pay that back even if only slightly.
>>58605684Thanks for the kind words! And I'd prefer sticking to Kartanon, personally. I think dreamscapes appeal to me since I find the mentality of it all... Fascinating, hence sticking to the stream of consciousness writing even if it can be a bit limiting for some aspects of the story. You'd be right about the swordsman being a sensei, though, probably the younger kind.
>phoneIt'd certainly make for an interesting conversation topic at the dinner table, wouldn't it?
