>>48169674>>48169883It's one of my favorite legendaries. I loved Carbink at first glance and was very disappointed when I found it never evolves into anything. Doesn't its whole appearance just scream first stage? GF seems to have agreed at least partially, and I think Diancie's designed quite well, though it will always bother me that Carbink can't in any way become it in gameplay.
Really, there's just a major lack of gemstone monsters in pokemon. There's a whole rock typing and what do we have? Just Carbink cucked out of a cool and strong evo? Gigalith's kind of a stretch, and it doesn't even do anything with them. Then Sableye, which is another one of my favorites but isn't even actually a rock? You'd think there'd be more.
