>>37037761Well, turned out that Silph Blue and Giovanni are embarrassingly easy. Blue's an idiot for getting rid of Leech Seed on Venusaur (for freaking Sweet Scent) and Giovanni for not having STAB in general. Unfortunately even with the extra Rocket grunt it wasn't enough to evolve Wartortle.
Also I got extremely lucky with a Run Away Raticate catch because I would literally have gotten slaughtered by higher leveled Raticate if I didn't. This will no doubt be the case in Victory Road too. I tried Surfing for high level Tentacools (they can be anywhere from 5-40 iirc) and literally every Tentacool I found was level 15~ so that was dumb. I guess Wartortle's gonna have to solo Blaine, evolve, and then take on Giovanni as a Blastoise. The only other source of EXP at this point is Sabrina and that's just too risky.
I also don't remember if the Sevii Islands thing is mandatory or not but I hope it is because I desperately need EXP.
>>37038392>>37038429It's not just LGPE, nuzlocke threads have been dead for a while. I blame /funmons/, but people just don't care as much as they used to. Obviously with LGPE-related funposting it'll be especially hard to keep these threads alive.
I should try SGSS again and update that too.
