I've been having a lot of fun with this over the last few weeks. Basically, I was inspired by the anon going through every game and thought it would be fun to Nuzlocke each generation in order... but then gen in the surviving members of the Elite Four into the next game as Level 2 babies en lieu of a starter. The idea is to see how long I can keep certain mons alive across many games.
I've been keeping track of my team throughout the games so you can see most of my loss and gain as it happened. Dupes clause carries over throughout games, but only for stuff that either survived the Elite Four or died at some point. The idea is that I had to really use it on my team (I wasn't forbidden from using my Tangela in Platinum just because I caught one and boxed it in Blue. I wasn't allowed to catch a Pidgey in Crystal, however).
Notable things:
-My Squirtle from Blue is STILL alive, at the tail-end of White. The Squirtle line is pretty reliable, and super easy to keep alive.
-All of my surviving members from Blue (barring Squirtle) died to a Machop in Crystal as I failed to sneak by a hiker to buy some Potions that I was desperately lacking.
-The most devastating deaths were my Parasect, who I'd taken through almost two games -- and rebuilt my team with -- and most recently, my Lairon, who I had two championships with and was a real MVP.
-What's cool about this run is that the filler mons you catch just before the Elite Four can end up in the next game, so you have more than 20 minutes to get attached to them. My Ponyta and Aggron are great examples -- Aggron being one of the longest-surviving members of the whole run.
