Here's the solution I've envisioned:
- In the OP for a new draw thread, all outstanding requests from the last thread are collated, up to say 30 at a generous limit.
- Next to each request will be a number charting how many threads it's been in thus far.
- After five threads, requests are moved to the "archive", which is a pastebin doc.
- Artists are of course 100% free to fish around and flesh out whatever request they find and strikes their fancy - this system simply means that a request gets a good five threads of being in the OP to see if it catches anyone's eye.
That's the main thrust of the idea. THen to support it:
- If a new thread begins and there's not enough room for all the requests made last thread for the 30 request limit, it doesn't go in - but still, keep posting in the thread anyway.
- Once a request is in the OP, posting it in the thread is unecessary and obnoxious since it's in the OP. So doing this gets the poster and their request labelled "faggy" and they get moved to the "Fag Bin", which is again a pastebin doc.
- Well known fags like Grandiafag are placed in a special hall of freaks just for themselves, with artists encouraged to familiarise themselves so as to better avoid requests.
- Once a request has had five threads in the OP and been moved to the archive, it's somewhat faggy to repost it until a week has passed.
- Beyond that, I'd leave it to thread consensus if an over-repeated and always unfulfilled request has crossed the fag line or not.
I reckon this covers most bases, except for what if multiple anons make the same request. This on the one hand can be seen as a strong endorsement of interest, yet could lead to confusion over
