>>41168656The Grookey line is overall the best, no doubt. Thwackey’s transition to Rillaboom is a bit abrupt but it still feels natural. Cinderace is clearly not what most of us wanted, but I can still see what they were going for, and it still feels like a Pokémon to me.
But in the case of Sobble’s line, the transitions are just too jarring. Drizzile looks like Scraggy, and Inteleon doesn’t even look like a Pokémon. In fact, Inteleon is one of the most humanoid Pokémon I’ve ever seen that isn’t a Fighting or Psychic type.
