>>53219491I will say that the sprites have a better appearance than the drawings they're based on, probably worked out some of the kinks that can be attributed to the drawing style and just generally better proportions.
That said, the water starter doesn't look like much anything compared to the other two. Like, sure, it's supposed to be something akin to Godzilla, but with its legs planted on all four it definitely comes across more as "just a lizard" which kinda clashes with the heavy theming the other starters got going.
Picrel is what I threw together after trying to make a saltrock lizard concept of my own, ended up moving towards a stegosaurus mixture since its back panels would work well with salt crystals forming from sunlight and spike tails just makes it more menacing. If you find this strays too far from the theme all three have in common then I'll just keep this one to myself.
