I have quite a few pokemon in storage, but this is the default team I would use for travel and work.
I imagine if pokemon were real, there would be a huge market for luxury pokemon (rare species, pseudo-legendaries, shinies, etc.) since people would struggle to go and capture them themselves. I'd work as a bounty hunter of sorts, finding rare pokemon for the highest bidder and using the funds to keep travelling the world.
Sableye is the first pokemon I caught, it is to me as Pikachu is to Ash. Sableye can mega evolve, but tends not to. In battle, it plays a support role, using status moves and trickery to disable opponents.
Roserade helps me catch pokemon using Sweet Scent and various powder moves. It can also set traps with Spikes and Toxic Spikes, serving more of a utility role than direct combat.
Golisopod helps with crossing water and combat with other trainers, as it's eager to fight and trained to faint rather than capture. In any trainer battle, I typically lead with it to take advantage of Emergency Exit.
Gliscor is the team's Fly user and primary means of transportation. The pokedex entries say that it can fly silently, so it's very useful for sneaking up on people. It can also act as a tank in combat, grinding enemies down with Toxic stalling.
Kommo-o is a Z-move user, primarily caught for battling other trainers. The pokedex states that it trains obsessively and only battles against strong foes, so I feel like it matches my own personality.
Metagross is the ace of my team with regards to fighting. It uses its superintelligence to calculate and execute battle plans, and I tend to hold it back until the other team is weakened so it can clean up. I learned how to mega evolve it from Steven during a trip to Hoenn.
