Can someone explain the appeal of this character? Is it just because he can be "cute" and "funny" with that having more importance over his development as a character? He never accomplishes anything and his Pokemon master speeches are so cringy now because he backs it up with nothing but constant failures. In XY they tried to make him "badass" but he still failed and now he's bumming around making gag faces.
How can Rica still like his character if he just goes nowhere and never really develops? What is the appeal of him?
