>>53254635Here's a real life crab spider, at least one of the species. There's a lot of convergence going on here, so it actually would be a real life example that would be perfect for Pokémon (unlike some of the other ideas people spit out, which we've talked about in this thread)
This line should have access to Crabhammer, Sticky Web, String Shot, Bubblebeam, Silk Trap, Toxic Thread, and Spider Web to name a few. I'd also like to get a couple unique moves, maybe some it would share with other Pokémon. And 80 power physical Bug type move called Spider Fang that has a chance to paralyze, a Water type move called something like Foam Barrier that works sort of like Aurora Veil maybe with its own catch, and another Water type move called Bubble Bath which would be a strange hybrid move that removes status on the target but lowers their speed and causes them to miss their turn. I also like the idea of it having a signature move called Caustic Claw that is slightly weaker than Crabammer but has a chance to poison and always lowers the target's defense.
