>>44389639>>44389645After actually getting there, I decided to take out Kagari for Vladimir, -- it just didn't feel right to use a legendary over him. I looked up the movesets of the E4 and saw a bunch of bullshit like Confuse Ray and Double Team, so I taught him Taunt to be safe. Here's how the run went:
Will: Vlad taunts Xatu, leading to light DD setup + sweep. Hayate supports when Slowbro walls Vlad, putting it to sleep and seeding it. Seed whittles it down while Vlad sets up for a final sweep.
Koga: Every Pokemon on his team can lob huge Psychics. I can’t set up an early sweep, but I’m able to pivot around Helmet and Shizuku enough for HEY MAN and Munchkin to make some killshots.
Bruno: Vlad sets up +4 DD on Hitmontop, solos entire team.
Karen: Vlad taunts Umbreon, sets up +4 DD, solos entire team.
Lance: Vlad sets up +3 DD on Gyarados, solos entire team.
...I did not expect Vlad to essentially sweep the E4 by himself. Very glad I put him back in, but I regret grinding as much as I did.
