Still, what kind of psychopath do you need to be to look at this and think "Y'know I'm going to make MC's BF be based on this guy, such a cool and interesting character for my Pokemon game!". I've just beaten this game few hours ago and I've never been more vindicated. Even base Snakewood was more competently made and with more logic. I don't like Reborn/Rejuvenation/Insurgance and am on fence of trying Unbound or Tectonic yet I gave this game a chance. But all of the games I've mentioned still are light years ahead of what this corruption device. Quests from this game range from collecting all National Pokedex Pokemon (so yes, you can't do it unless you trade with RBE or Gameshark it) to hatching 100 eggs which dev genuinely was surprised it might be a bit too much for a single quest? Oh and you actually can't even do 100% because dev failed to make TM section in backpack big enough to hold all TMs you can collect in this full release. How did they program these many TMs without checking if it's possible to hold them all is beyond. Even AI when asked can't get these many things wrong about a piece of media. But what gets me is that neither dev or anyone talking about it... even aknowledges the issues? Like "what a great game, please tell me how to uncorrupt it"
I am now a believer because the Steel type Dubwool that saved my run was actually something I chose because my starter - Chesnaught, which is part Steel in this game too, got turned into Stunky irreversibly due to one of game's bugs when Violet joins you. If not for this I wouldn't be able to finish it. This game truly is a Bible of Pokemon Fangames. Amen.
