giovanni went by without a hitch! i should really memorize every single pokemon that learns thunderbolt, for gyarados' sake. the AI does this weird thing where it weakens you first to the point that a move can KO you so something with thunderbolt might not reveal itself immediately - gotta be careful! up next, the rival fight that i've been dreading... maybe i should take on surge and/or erika first.
