Ever since Expansion Packs started being called DLC it became code for "things we cut from the original game to sell at a premium" instead of "actual new content we idealized and worked on after the initial game release". Nintendo is the company that has the most hypocrite stance on DLC out of all of them because it used to actively shit on the idea of DLC for brownie points before wholeheartedly embracing it.
