Since there's no Pokémon League, the ending will probably revolve around a battle against Arceus (and/or the main villain). My guess is that Mt. Coronet is the final location unlocked in the game and it's going to serve as the final dungeon. The MC will have to climb it to get to Spear Pillar (or Hall of origin, maybe) for a climatic battle.
Also, I've been thinking about Dialga, Palkia and Giratina roles in the game. I find it hard to believe they wouldn't be available, so maybe they're gonna be bosses right before the endgame.
