Everyone who claimed that there would be a new type claimed that some old Pokémon would get it. It's a fundamental part of all the rumours and for good reason. I assumed you were claiming that he said specific Pokémon would gain the new type, which if he was right about would prove he knew what he was talking about. The fact that he claimed old Pokémon would get the new type does fuck all to elevate him above the masses of other people who were claiming the exact same thing
