I got to the E4 still without running into Team Plasma and defeating them for good, and I thought that I must have made a mistake, missed the plot point, or had done something wrong.
I decided to screw it and do the league anyway. You couldn't imagine my shock when I found N up there having already beaten Alder. I then watched in awe as Team Plasma's castle rose from the ground, sheltering the league in cut scenes I had never seen before. N then challenged me at the top of the world.
I ran through Team Plasma's castle, loving the music, being blown away by what I saw. I came to N and fought him. I managed to defeat him mostly with the help of Zekrom which I had.
Then... Ghetsis showed up. Keeping in mind my team up there, you can imagine how underequiped I was, especially for that Hydreigon. Ghetsis brutally raped me, not once, not twice, THREE TIMES. It was mostly the fault of his Hydreigon, and I'd only managed to beat it on the fourth try once I'd realized (by fluke) dark types were weak to fighting types.
