>Snowballs very well if it can actually get Blastoise quickly due to the Ability thinning your deck while also getting more damage dealers out>Has some sort of draw support in the form of Pidgeotto, can evolve to Pidgeot in emergencies (see also throwing back a Blaziken or Nidoqueen to hand) >Golduck forces single-attack Pokemon to retreat and Swim dabs on Empoleon, Swampert and just other Blastoise decks who start slower than you (Blastoise mirrors are usually over VERY quickly)>Blastoise itself does repeated 150s but you have to be smart with it - kills basically everything except Nidoqueen which you have Kukuis for, or just Golduck and make it forget how to Power Lariat lolMost of this is simply a matter of being just more consistent than the other theme decks while usually easily winning versus Charizard. Leaf Charge would be a concern but no one plays that when 70% of the Theme playerbase is Charizard because, well, Charizard. Versus Storm Caller is basically a coinflip of whoever draws better since your birds are weak to Lightning so durdling behind Farfetch'd isn't as good, and you only have two Switches as way to deal with Ampharos stunlock.
You're correct though in that usually it's better to play aggro with Golduck than just try and chew through your deck with Farfetch'd.
