For anyone who doesn't know, Pokémon Showdown is a battle simulator by Smogon University (or at least they have the biggest server), it's in Beta but has been for over a year, and I've never discovered any bugs.
It lets you create teams with full customization (IVs, EVs, Natures, gender, moves, ability and so on), with matchmaking and MMR to pair you against someone, a typical ranked system.
Doesn't cost anything, doesn't require an account, would post link but not sure about /vp/ rules on links.
