>>37142004>Cycling through a buttload of transformations, whether there's some sort of slot system or not, could be really tedious It's in the middle of battle, so I wasn't sure how to make it not invade the screen, which is why I haven't gone with a list to select from. It kind of sucks. Would it help if the list was "shuffled" everytime? So instead of the first transformations you unlocked being in the first few left-right movements you make, it'd be random. Would that be worse? I was partial to that (shuffling the list everytime) because maybe you'd be like "oh, look, I forgot I had Phanpy unlocked, let's just try this one out" as you search for that one other species on the list. Does that help? Should I ditch the current method and do something like picrelated? I don't really like it.
>but the more of a certain species you've battled/caught could increase the power of a transformation. If you've caught one spearow, the transformation only has peck, but if you've caught five you also have quick attack say.Hey, this is actually brilliant. One of my fears is progression feeling very linear (unlock new stuff that makes the older transformations feel dated) but being able to advance each transformations adds a new layer of progress I haven't thought about. Thank you very much. I'm totally going to do that.
