Diamond was the game that brought me (a total nostalgiafag up to that point, because I disliked my one Sapphire playthrough and gave up caring about the franchise) back in the fold. I enjoyed it immensely, and seeing Johto (my favorite region) put in another appearance shortly thereafter sealed the deal.
