In conclusion, numbers say the best gens are:
3 > 2 > 1 >7 > 4 > 6 > 5
I've also done the same calculation for my 50 favorite pokemon and got this ranking:
3 > 2 > 6 > 4 > 5 > 7 > 1
If we calculate the average we know that scientifically the best generations are these:
3 > 2 > 4 > 7 > 1 > 6 > 5
btw. that's why gen 5 failed, it had a shit pokedex and that forced to use only it. It's nothing to do with Kanto.
