Started a new Platinum hardcore run. Can't get the online version to download an image, so here's a shitty screen without the rules instead. I've been basically 50/50-ing candies, fighting every trainer and occasionally grabbing some EVs from wild mons. Changed my time to get the Drifloon because I haven't used it ever before, and wanted to see how it plays.
Feel somewhat unlucky with my encounters overall. Bad abilities for Shinx, Geodude, Rapidash and Drifloon. Managed to miss really good odds on Meditite on 211 and Mt Coronet, and Chingling is one of the worst possibilities from the latter too. I did manage to avoid getting my 203 encounter until I could pick up a Nest Ball though, so I can get the Abra there since it's the only non-dupe during the day and nest ball has a ~99% catch rate at full life.
Lost Bidoof to being careless. Taught it Rock Smash then went into Oreburgh Mine to train, immediately met a level 9 Onix that killed with Bind -> Rock Throw -> Rock Throw, poor Bidoof couldn't kill it fast enough.
