No pokemon "needs" an ability, but you being mad that a pokemon exists seems to indicate that you're just autistic, not stupid.
I'll admit, base tropius doesn't seem like an auto tailwind type mon at first glance. Base pinsir doesn't seem like the type of mon to get aerialate, or heracross skill link, or pidgeot no guard. Their megas' designs and movepools lead into that. Tropius mega evolving to become a stronger flyer and using tropical trade winds to spread fruit all over with the power of mega evolution seems like a pretty reasonable concept, even more reasonable than many canon megas. It's a flying tropical pokemon that likes to share fruit, so using its flying typing to get better at its job is a natural progression.
Have you considered not coming into threads that you know you won't like? I don't go into animalfucker threads because I don't want to fuck animals. If you don't like fanmade megas, why come into a fanmade mega thread?
I'm interested in your opinion on the other two. I'm particularly proud of arbok but I'm sure you hate it. I actually feel like kecleon is the weakest of the bunch, can't believe you haven't complained about it yet.
