PSA that the Let's Go games are NOT mainline games. The next Gen and next mainline games are coming in 2019, and multiple people from the Pokemon Co and GameFreak have already stated that the Let's Go games are specifically aimed at getting people who only played the first 1 or 2 Gens back into modern Pokemon and for bringing in Casuals, people who have never played Pokemon, and people who have only played Go. They explicitly stated that the 2019 games are the next set of games for the long-time and hardcore fans.
This is all a good thing because it means less casual pandering crap in the good mainline games.
