A Masterball would at least cost a couple thousand since they seem to be so rare.
How do poke balls even work in terms of physics? Are the atoms of a creature miniaturized? Does the Pokémon inside experience anything inside the ball ?
I believe it was once explained that inside the ball is a small habitat for the creature.
Would explain why bigger Pokémon like Onyx or Garydos would need a great ball to be contained.
While it certainly makes sense that a greatly weakened Pokémon should be able to be caught with a regular ball , I feel like the containment and habitat inside the special balls is the main feature rather than their catch rates.
