>>53288806I hate that the writers could never find a middle ground between comic relief and villains like in the first few episodes before becoming the monkeybutt of the series and getting defeated by the pokemon in turn every episode. Unova was boring and irrelevant and PJ basically became extras.
They also had a hard time making them win in certain situations, it's not like catching wild Pokemon is illegal, from time to time they might catch Pokemon with dubious methods or luck and have them returned as assists or reinforcements, this would make the comeback more memorable of certain Pokemon, like James' Gyarados. (Picrel is just a Rocket's Gyarados)
