old Alakazaams don't die pretty. People get crazy about Gardevior for some reason, but overlook their friendly Gallade brothers who are stronger and more even-tempered. Just be aware psychics like mental exercise and will want puzzles and games as rewards or they can get angsty which tends to result in things floating and exploding when they shouldn't.
