Since gen 5 I have noticed a trend with Pokémon. From gen 5 and on all the regions are based similarly to past regions. Unova is the new Kanto, kalos is the new johoto and alola is the new hohen. Each of these corresponding regions have similarities in geographic areas and in what type of Pokémon are found there. With this trend it would make since that Galar is the new Sinnoh which makes since due to they have some interesting similarities. I believe this may also mean like the gen 4 games we should expect a lot of pre and post evolutions from past gen to occur in this gen due to gen 4 had a lot of pre and post gen evolutions from past gens. What Pokémon would you like to see get pre and post evolutions in gen 8?
