In fact, Lucario's whole conception might be a pun on Hadouken. 波動拳 (Hadouken, "Wave Fist") -> 波動犬 (Hadouken, "Wave Dog"). The baggy pants thing Lucario has going comes from martial arts pants, Goku is a good example. Goku uses qi, which is basically the same life-energy thing as aura.
All in all Lucario (and Riolu) has fucking nothing to do with Anubis. Anubis is a god of death with a jackal head. Anubis is not present in any Riolu or Lucario's name. Riolu and Lucario are wolves.
