Just make a bunch of shitty, unappealing characters who constantly badger you with needless backstory instead of interesting exposition, a plot that disregards every law of every kind of science that isn't a pseudoscience, have a partner who uses you all the way through the game only to pretend they care about in your "final moments" (3 minutes of boohoo butwaitmagicressurection), and a fetchquest for post-game. When Chunsoft starts putting as much effort into PMD as they did in the Zero Escape series, you can talk quality. But now, just be thankful GtI isn't a rotten, steaming pile of feces like the rest of the series.
