It stacks with the Leech Seed recovery and I think is generally more than Big Root LS would be, plus it continues to restore HP even if they switch out of the Seeds. Could be wrong about that. I definitely hope Chesnaught learns Drain Punch as a level up move, it would be nasty in playthrough, but I would settle for an egg move or a return to TM (since tutors won't likely be back in this game).
