The Pokemon world is very idealistic. No blood or guts, organizations of evil are toppled by children, just about every NPC is happy and willing to help you, and in general the negatives of life are far more obscured by emphasis on personal growth, exploration, curiosity, trusting in your partners, and the triumph of good over evil. It seems like a wonderful place to be.
