I've had this giant backlog for Polished Crystal that I haven't cleared since last November, and even though the development of the hack itself has been as tumultuous as my upload schedule, I've felt really bad at the thought that my inconsistency in uploading songs was holding the hack back. My conscience is almost clear now.
I decided to try doing a battle theme without drums this time, to better match vanilla Crystal's battle music. There's nothing in-game preventing drums in battle themes and I usually implement them because I think the songs sound better with them, but trying to match the style of Gen 2's compositions instead of only caring about hardware limitations was a neat exercise.
