Cliche, I know. But he was still the one of the first Pokemon I felt a bond towards. The one I got from Firered is always the first Pokemon I make sure to transfer to a game when I get the ability too. I like its design, even if people say its a generic fire lizard thing. Also, I find stealth rock jokes to be pretty funny.
I don't really like its mega forms though, but I'm glad to see its usable now.
