i played pearl and stopped playing pokemon/lost interest until BW2. BW2 was the best pokemon experience i've ever had since the original RBY - all the features blew the fuck out of everything else
XY was a huge step backwards from that experience. you can say it's me being jaded but XY was so much wasted potential compared to what they already did with BW2. and if you say "lol expecting anything from the entry in a gen", that's milking
haven't played ORAS yet but the idea that there's a huge amount of stuff that's incompatible with XY - a game in the same generation - is a massive turnoff
